The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I don't know about a dash. I don't want to know what carbon fiber taste like if ever in a really bad wreck. Just in case. I am thinking wide body in the front though to easily fit a pair of 245's for 17" wheels. It would be a fender front bumber combo. I'm going to have to look to see if adding a wide body kit to the car would take me out of SMF.
 
Well I was considering an small oil cooler when I go turbo but that's not for a while and I recall Mr. Breese saying they were unnecessary. Just getting some more opinions. :)

I was talking about adding an additional oil cooler on the MSP. The MSP has an oil to water cooler from the factory and it seems to get the job done (although my oil temp gauge is busted so I can't guarantee that it does, but after 110,000 not so easy miles on my car I haven't done anything to the engine.) There should be some kind of oil cooler on a turbo car!
 
Duly noted, Mr. Breese, thanks. Phen, come on, you know me well enough to know I wouldn't go with a stock anything. lulz. An aftermarket oil cooler seems easy enough to mount and route, no worries.
 
Stock is awesome sometimes. Keep in mind, a ton of the Porsche guys pay dealership price for the stock rotary oil coolers

Yup, I know. Many people are quick to go with a super-duper mega upgrade even after people say that the cheap stuff works best too. Just throwing out a potential option.

Another idea would be to run an oil filter relocation kit with a generic cooler (about the size of your power steering cooler) in the relocation line. Quite possibly more than you'll ever require.

you do that ^ and i will drive out to Ohio, smack the s*** out of you, rip it off and then drive back to pittsburgh hahah
