no room for babies...unless I get a side car.
The last event at the airport I think we ran 5 times. It all depends on the weather/turnout on how many runs you'll get. Sounds like a lot of fun. When I raced last year at the first NORA event I wish some of you could have made it out for that and raced. As for AJ, I'm not worriedHe might have coilovers, SC, and ..? I don't know what else, but MY DRIVER MOD IS BIGGER AND BADDER BUUUUUAAAAHAHA!
Maybe it would be better to all meet up at an early NORA event? That way it wouldn't effect your points, more runs, and a better chance we could all get in the same run group.
I'll never tell anyone that the Miata is the best car ever or even the best performance car per dollar. But I do think it's awesome.

Well if you want it it's yours, buddy. It's just chilling in the garage and I don't plan on running it anymore. If it was warmer out I would offer to paint it for you but I just don't have the means for it right now...

As a former officer of NORA, I did there public relations and media and obviously I have moved onto bigger and better things. Geauga Lake is OK, but Toledo is a phenomenal track and NORA wil not let us run as a group, we woud have to run on our class! If they'd let us, I am sure it would cost us an additional fee for sure

Yeah I wasn't too impressed with Geauga or Northfield Park. I wish they still had events at the former Lorain Ford Plan because it is literally 5 minutes from my house. I just think it would be more fun to all get in the same group because I like jumping in and riding along for other people's runs.

We could see when the the corvette club is running at Lorraine, I am sure Tim would let us run as a group
I liked the layout of Geauga Lake, but the conditions of that parking lot go from great to really bad real quick. Toledo is, I believe, the best autocross track in Ohio. Even when it rains if there isany break in the water it drains and drys really quick. I'm not too worried about points. It's not likeI'm getting paid to drive. I'm just serious and competitive about it. Would be great to see 10-20 mazdas running in one class.

I have a few financials to get in order before I will know for sure I'll be getting the car. The stars might be lining up though, the sales-hottie called and told me the price has dropped. That will make it a little easier to swing the deal. I am not too worried about it having a silver hood for the winter, for that matter the hood that is on it now will suffice. I hope I can get it, seems like that has been the first thing on my mind when I get time to think. I am not trying to be an ass but, is your hood solid?

If I remember correctly, I think there may be some rust along the front edge. There's a hood that's been on craigslist for a while now that may be cleaner.

I like those wheels, but they have a weird center bore and need bored out to fit the more common Mazda size of 67.1mm (iirc).
I've ran with the Corvette Club before at Lorain that's a good option. Usually a really fast course too
That sounds even better. I bet we could drum up enough people to have our own autocross and maybe have the NORA folks put it on or something.
