The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I dunno, simpler to wire up for turbo setup? I'd rather have less computers. Why do the Honda guys swap from obd2>1?

Anyone else get some Yuengling on draft today?!

Nope, but I did have a Yuengling Oktoberfest on draft today. All paid for by someone else... Story goes as follows:

So I made some random dude's night. They had a buy 10 wings, get 10 wings free night at wing place here in Augusta. I bought 10 wings and gave some random dude the 10 free. He wound up buying my beers for the night. Good Karma ftw!

saw this on thechive and laughed, had to post figured some of you guys would get a laugh at it too (its from the YSU student paper hahaha)

this-is-true-13.jpg

I have the greatest defensive comeback for this, but I am not sure if it would be over the top or not. lol it is good too.

^ i didnt post it to take shots at any of you guy, i saw it and got a good laugh cause i couldnt believe some paper in ohio would actually print that (even if it is just a college paper) thought you guys would get a good laugh out of it

Awesome retort for it:

I may be from Ohio, but I have a 100mph ass and a below avg size at 100mph is still a lot of penis.

*I don't really agree with that study, but it is one hell of a response to shut people up and make them think of a reply. (Which won't happen.)

so, I didn't drive yesterday since I was home sick. Today as I was getting to work, I noticed the parking brake light was on, I made sure the brake was off, if I pull it the light gets brighter... I touched the rear rotors when I got to work, they weren't hot...

Pablo, your car is listed at Park now! ...they took all of your stickers off though...it's probably a lot slower now.

Good Morning OH! Got some Nokians mounted and balanced on the steelies this morning. While I may be ready for winter I'm not looking forward to it. lol

Check your brake fluid reservoir. Every Mazda I've had will show that light if it's low. And when the weather cools down and that fluid becomes more dense, the level often dips down below where the sensor will read.

^^^this Happened to me once before as well and for me, I needed new pads.

That will cause the fluid level to be low too. But considering that the weather has, at least where I am (not in e-hio), gotten a lot cooler in the last week or so, that's where I'd start.

just did, reservoir is full...

Check to make sure that the float on the cap is actually seated right. I had an issue with the one on the Bavaria. Even tho it was in there, the float was pinched and wouldn't move... telling me the fluid was low.

Understood, I was just saying that in my instance I needed to replace the pads. Before that day and since, the light has never come on again and the temps have dropped here as well???? Since the resorvoir was full, I hope it's just a float issue Pablo.

Yep, I got that. Having low pads will cause the pistons to have to move more, which will cause the fluid to be lower. So, low fluid, in your case, was a symptom of the pads. But I think we're arguing the same side here at this point haha

I guess Mazda started consolidating their warning lights in the '90's. My RX-7 has warning lights specifically for low brake fluid, low coolant level, and get this, low washer fluid level!!

i've been having brake troubles too. my passenger rear caliper keeps sticking, getting really really hot and stinking.

i bought some speedbleeders, so i'm gonna see if theres a bubble in there.

Would a leak in the brake booster line cause the light? Did it happen around the same time as the boost gauge install? The levels are good and the system has been bled twice with Speedbleeders installed.
