The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

i'm not a huge fan of F1...i only watch a few races here and there...but i think that having this track would be great! there is also a rumor of aussie v8 cars coming...but not sure how feasible that is....

i'm seriously considering austin as a city to move to and i think this would be a great local track lol!!

i don't have speed channel....i stream all sorts of races online...search justin.tv :)

well for some reason the battery charger wasn't charging last night so the vac leak will have to wait. i should be able to get alot of other stuff done today

Wow I'm glad I have DirecTV. I don't know what I'd do without SpeedTV :)

As much as I love old cars, I hate old plastic and how brittle it is. I was epoxying part of the center console back together for my Miata and it broke further while repairing it...

Pumpkin, you can always come over and watch F1 at our house. We should have F1 parties on Sundays.

^+1 and days we can't make it to GrandAm events. I really need to move closer to people who appreciate the finer things in life. Mazdas, boobies, racing, boobies, car meets/shows, boobies...
The list goes on and on, but Toledo sucks.

front bumper is back on, I'm 99% positive my vac leak is coming from the intake mani to the head or the throtle body to intake mani just need the battery to charge to confirm this. almost all back together and ready for the cookout.

So... here's a pic of a BMW 2500 that we saw at Lime Rock. This is pretty much how I'd like my Bavaria to end up.

What are you trying to say, that it's a piece of s***?

******* cleaner than my Protege ever was. I'm sorry my project cars aren't cars I bought brand new. I know it's going to take some work.

I've never really seen much of your Protege, so I guess I'm just comparing it to the MSM.

Are you going to re-paint the Bavaria? To get it to look like the car in that pic, that's probably going to be a lot of work and money. Although I don't know much about it's mechanical condition. I just know what I've seen lol luckily, it's not a rust bucket somehow.

lol, I was waiting for something like that. It really isn't that bad. Just needs a little body work, paint, and elbow grease. I have faith in you Phen.

Mechanically, it's fine. I've got a few small things to fix, but that's fine. They don't affect anything.

Next time you're out, I'll give you a ride in it. The car rides quieter than any other car I've had. No squeaks, no rattles, no noises at all. At highway speeds, you won't even hear the engine.

Wow that's pretty crazy. If they could do that 30 something year ago, why do a lot of cars today suck!? Is the Bavaria not made up of plastic like cars today?
