not yet, I'm gonna get a can of starter fluid and spray some spots to see if the idle changes but that will have to wait til tomorrow. The only thing I can think of is the intake mani may need some bolts tightened

I've been meaning to do the same, and place it within the reach of the driver unlike others I've seen (on the rear deck, really close to the back window). I'd like to be able to reach it in time and put the fire out before it traps and consumes me before I get to the extinguisher...

On another note, my friend was pulled over the other day going to autox event (2007 BMW 3 series), The cop saw the air tank in the back of the car and assumed it was a nitrous bottle and was all over him saying it was illegal. My friend told him it was a air bottle for the track tires. The cop replied "I wasn't born yesterday". Wow the cops over here are getting outta control. I was lmfao.

With the tinted windows, I don't think it would even be that noticeable. I'd put it somewhere in the passenger footwell. As long as it gets used, it's not rice.



On another (common) note, are there any decent pickings for tires for a 16x8 wheel as far as track duty?

Nate, when I did my VTCS delete I had a really bad vauum leak and rough idle. I checked over everything 3 times then tightened the intake mani bolts down pretty hard and that solved it. But apparently I cranked them down a bit too hard. Josh broke one when he was putting my old motor in his P5 and swapping the IM. woopsadoodle. But yeah, try tightening those buggers down really well.

Pablo, I was thinking behind passenger seat for the extinguisher. That way you can reach it from the divers seat and it's still out of the way. Perhaps?

What time does it usually start? Last time we went, we didn't get there till a little after 7. Still alot of cars, but you could tell some started to leave.

I'd like to get there a little earlier this time...maybe 6ish? We've got a full day of mowing, washing the car, and working on the Firebird for me, and housecleaning and weeding for the Mrs.

It starts at 5 I think, but not a lot get there till 6. Tuners arnt realy welcome till 7 or so and normally park more towards Big Lots. I'll be up whenever you say.
