What I'd like to see implemented in every sport is that when you are a rookie, you get a 1yr contract and make the minimum. If you produce then you can sign a multi-year contract for millions. All these damn kids getting muli-million contracts and then either being a bust or getting injured and not playing is downright ridiculous.

That is one thing that should be in the next CBA for the NFL. Both the owners and the players agree that it's getting crazy and that the money should be spent on proven players, not rookies. Just have to see how well they develop that plan. The owners want minimum money and players locked into contracts for 5 years at this minimum pay. Well when the average career length of an NFL player because of injury and such is 3-5yrs, I don't think the players will agree to that length of contract, but the money should be agreed upon easily.

lol...I'd do the same Levi! I was watching a show the other day on NBA rookies and Blake Griffin was complaining how he had to buy donuts on game day his first year. He had to drive 20 minutes past the stadium to the donut shop and then backtrack 20 minutes. WTH with the money you are making, why the hell do you care? haha And Nate, I'm right there wity you. Give me one year of the minimum salary and I could quit my second job, pay off some debt and and put back plenty to ensure my kids get a college education.

Hadn't heard this but it is a very good idea. Make it a one year contract and the team has the option of offering incentives? So much for sacks/ints/touchdowns/carries etc. If you hit your numbers you are rewarded and have an even better shot at locking up more money in the next contract.

thanks to a piss poor showing with only 3 guys wanting to dyno i decided it was not fair to the shop owner (who was pulling off a customer car to accomodate our dyno day) to only bring 3 cars to dyno... so NOW im going to give this one last go... im asking for dates that work best for you and will try to make this successful if i get the same s*** as this time the annual Pitt Dyno Day will be put out to pasture and i will no longer plan it anymore... too much hard work to only have 3 guys wanting to dyno

Sorry to hear Levi and don't blame ya. It would be fun to hang out but honestly I see no reason to dyno my car. With the bolt-ons I have I still probably haven't hit 100whp. lol

that sucks, but in a selfish way that means I still might be able to make it since the date will be changed. Dyno all comes down to me having the car done and tuned by a professional before I start going all out with it. Since I missed Mid-Ohio and the mitty, I'm not really gonna rush to get my car done like I was. Really I just hope to get it done before Chippy's cookout.

My mom's roof leaks on her monte carlo and the passenger side had a giant puddle on the floor board. GM FTL! The more I drove her car the more I hate it. It's just a terrible car and def. not worthy of the SS badge. And don't let anyone every tell you they're "sporty" they ride like a buick.

Sadly though, I can charge the battery in my camaro and it'll start right up. I was considering an ls swap for my camaro one day but just not sure I want to deal with all the electronics. Kinda have a wedding and a house to save for too.

That thread makes my head explode. Apparently you need the right (normally ugly) wheels and tires that are at least 40 mm too narrow for those wheels to qualify.

Minor difference The playoffs this year have been great with the exception of P-burg getting knocked out. Oh well you'll have that when your 2 best offensive players are out.
