The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I have had tires mounted for my speed3 and they never had a problem. I took my car and tires to Enger Tire in Akron but they have stores all over neohio.

Good to know, if NTB won't do it tonight for my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3L then Enger Tire it might have to be.

Just installing tires on the wheels, but they ask for the info on the car to have in their system. I didn't even think one step ahead like I should have.

tire rack put my tires on my wheels... but my dealer put the wheels on for me. (like a tire rotation)

they knew they didnt have tpms... and they didnt care. screw mr. tire. so now we cannot go out and check our own tire pressure like we have for decades?

i think mr. tire was just trying to get you to believe some bogus to make 400 bucks on sensors from you lol

Sure they are. Why not? A6's are more suited to Auto-X if I remember correctly.

they are, the rpfs i got from bill have some. actually Continental recommends at least 8" wide for their 225/45/75 Extreme Contact

Those are track tires correct? I don't think they're wide enough for an 8" wide wheel
Sorry, they're R6's and they'll fit an 8 inch wheel......the R6 you can run on track as well, the heat up a tad bit slower than the A6's.

I'd stay away from NTB and Tire Kingdom (same company). They've jacked up many of my friends wheels/tires before. All sorts of BS and just terrible service. One friend had the wheel come off on the highway (lugs weren't tightened), one of my ex girlfriends tires weren't balanced when she bought new tires, they said they're balancing machine caught fire so they couldn't do them. Just a very sketchy company.

Ok tire people. What tire size would I use on a 17X7.5? I want to keep the same overall size as stock 205-50/17. I might be changing my mind on wheels. I know there is a tire size converter or something but I cant find it.

Yeah, at least it's not the tranny anymore and apparently that brace is available from Jess just down the street. Good with the bad. I'll shut up now and let him post when he gets home. heh-heh
