i hate the morons doing 20 in the fast lane... haha
The only time I enjoy driving in the snow, is when I'm the only one on the road. I love how much of a tank our cars are with snow tires!! I like to use the e-brake to help me make turns too (when there aren't any cars), makes it more fun HAHA.

Driving in the snow does not bother me at all, I like it. What I can't stand is the idiots in 4 wheel drive that think because they have a 4 X 4 that s*** can't happen to them and then lo and behiold, they go flying off the road, sans todays drive into work.....I just drove and looked at the fool and laughed my ass of...as I pointed at him....Then we have a lady driving 10 mies per hour on 77 south.....she was stiff as a 90 year old man's Johnson with a double dose of viagara! I am having too much fun...more cawfee for me....I'f from Jersey uh huh...
Heh. That is fun. I do believe Evan may have a video of me with the P5 sliding into the driveway after fixing the rear brakes. Then I go and give the car to my sister. Smart move there...
Right now, I just prefer stepping on the gas to get the back end out. Much easier.

True, but I really do value the opinions of you guys who I know have more knowledge than I do. Whether I listen to you or not, that falls on me. Seriously though, thank you for all the help you guys have given me along the way. I don't want to rub anyone the wrong way. I only rub people in a way that makes them feel good.

Yes stock brakes. My calipers are painted red, that is the only difference.
Pablo, me and you tomorrow night at the Lizard? A quick ride around the block under relatively sane driving conditions, just to feel the harshness of the ride? Before drinking or a long time after, right before we leave... I'd be interested to actually experience coilovers!
I have the BC's I had one issue and it was resolved quickly......to each his own..When I had the Eiback Sportlines, Lauri could not stand the stiffer ride. I know that the BC's on Full Stiff on the track make a big difference. The most important thing to remember with Coilovers is the spring rates as well, I know I am going to experimenting with different springs front and rear this year. I say buy what you like, KW, BC's, Koni's, D2's, Bilsteins, it is a personal preference. I am a firm believer in that you buy what you want and make the most of it.
I was driving to work this morning and passed a 4x4 pickup with a plow on 91north. He must have gotten made a little wagon with orange wheels passed him so we raced a while. It was fun and I made it to work on time after all. heh-heh.

last sunday night, when we got 8 inches, i was not passed by anybody on the way to work. (25 miles mostly interstate) with the new car, with new tires and traction control, i was going at least 45 most of the way. i passed 3 plows, and numerous suvs. one jeep rode my ass for a while, when we were in a group of slow people, but once i got free, i left him in the dust.

Very shortly I will be upgrading to an FMIC and will be upgrading my BOV/BPV as well. I want to go with the TurboSmart Kompact Dual Port. After ready many posts, I have come to understand that to install this will will just replace the stock BPV and will not be attached via an welded in flange on the cold pipe (such as an HKS) Is this correct?

bigger the size the bigger the flange and more air. I would measure the stock bpv inlet and get the closest to that size.
has me wondering if maybe i should go with a bpv replacement or with the bov I planned on...the Haltech 500 has a built in MAP sensor so I can deleate the MAF altogether I think. I need to see what I can find

A few questions for you.
Do you have an intake, whether it be SRI or CAI already?
Since you're going FMIC, you won't be able to use any of your existing piping.
Most (but not all) of the intakes for the MSP that I've seen do not have a flange for mounting the BOV, so it'll have the 2" protrusion coming out of the intake which will connect with a coupler. I can't remember for the life of me which intake uses a flange. Maybe Jon can chime in.
But... the simple answer is that it depends on what intake you are going to be using. And i would go with the 25mm.
Oh, and I hope you plan to recirc. VTA on the stock ECU will be a pain in the ass without a piggy back of some sort. Unless you like crazy backfiring of course...
