If you can contact ebay and everything checks out on their end, I think it would be ok. Ebay's been really good in my experience, and they're looking to keep their rep, you know? If you're going to do it, the safest way is though a credit card so that you have your credit company as another layer of "insurance." You just call them and tell them it never got delivered or whatever and they can cancel the charge. My dad's had to do that a few times over the years for various things, but nothing ever too big. It would take a really stupid person to try to do a scam through ebay because there are all kinds of laws; it's a binding agreement, just in electronic form. If you did everything right on your end, you'd have a solid case, but I dunno if it's worth it.
You and me both... How does the exhaust smell? I've noticed mine continues smoking at idle (recent discovery) and it smells like oil, even though the smoke is white/gray from what I can see, but it's hard to tell at night.
