If you have xbox360--but race pro and purchase the downloadable content for it. MidOhio is included as a track, the only console game to have it. I myself havent purchased the track pack yet, but plan on it eventually.

And yes, please come to MidOhio next year. It is a blast! I am hooked for life, and hope to get out a little on the track starting next summer. Your miata is calling for it.

fuztupnz, I use to have a speed 3 and ran Hankook ice bears on it (actually still have them). I drive my car like it's a rotary (read high revs) as Evan can tell and it was totally fine, easy to break loose when you want and easy to control. I was lowered so I plowed every now and then but never got stuck, only on the drive way going up hill. I would image Blizzaks would be even better.

I have dunlop grasspic tireson my car and they handle excellent in the snow as well.

i have a 3 and its a TANK in the snow (with snow tires on) i got up a road with no problems that my buddies 4x4 s10 with all seasons struggled to make it up haha

Prince: I hope you don't think i was ragging on you. I was more of calling bulls*** on the miata guy's claims. I can believe a track prepped and boosted miata could be faster than a lotus however. I've been going to mid ohio for all sorts of racing since i was a kid. I was actually just up there to hang out with some friends running in the porsche club HPDE last weekend. It's killing me to not have the liquid cash to run my 8 this year. Here's some pretty good info on Mid Ohio if anyone is interested. No official record listed though.

I got to do a ride along for a session in a spec 944 car doing 1:47's. Did I mention that I can't wait to get to the track?

The track recoord at Mid-Oho is held by the indy cars, I don't have the actual time, but I have contacted Mary Weir of Mid-Ohio to get me some info on it. I know that Bill Brees(SM76) has run 1:41.189 in his MSP, which he set this year. I expect him to drop to 1:40's next year, maybe high 1;39's...... For the longest time, before Indy came to Mid-Ohio the USSKK carts held the track record, those guys just a few months ago were running in the 1:25-1:26 range. Mid-Ohio is a great track and if you can master it, ( which no one has) you can drive anywhere. We'll be back in 2011 to run it again and the NASA Nationals will be here in 2012. We are working with NASA Great Lakes on having a Hyperdrive Mazda Challenge, so stayed tuned!

Since i killed the fun in the thread with serious talk, i created this. We have the same thing going on over at rx8club as far as aggressive fitment and the like. There are just a few people that believe stancenation rules all. Over there it's a 3 owner sticking up for his "cousin" who was banned long ago from the boards. Anywho, i was bored at work yesterday and made this for you all.

Wow, I'm pissed. I just saw the stupid new 2014 Lotus Elite is going to weigh 3700 lbs. I don't exactly have plans to own one, but Lotus was the only company doing it right... This'll probably just be the okay for all the other automakers to make their entry level cars 5k lbs and a "mid-size" [tank] 7-8k lbs.

How do you justify making a car that weighs 5k lbs? Safety? Stay home, that's what you should do. Wth is wrong with the world?

I think I nut myself every time I see a Lotus.I think they are the best car for the money. Light weight, nimble, and sexy as hell.
