Sunday, October 3rd Mohican Fun Run @ noon. Let's get this started. Would that be a good date for everyone? If so I'll start a thread for it and ask Lauri to help with the route because she knows what's up. I'd love if you c-bus and Cinci guys could make it so we could check out cars and drive.

Crap! I will be close by at Mid Ohio playing with the NOR Porsche Club. I love b road blasting to! It makes good use of the mud flaps. Loud Pedal... wheel spin... rocks hitting the under carriage... mmmm makes my naughty bits tingle.

Duration really depends on if they still need my help or not. They have a lot of work ahead of them, and I have a lot to teach them. To be honest, it's anyone's guess.

Thoughts? Other colors perhaps? I've got that picture masked, so it is simple to play around with changing the wheel colors...

I like Takata Green. I met up with a cat last fall who bought my uncles Mazda3 wheels and his were green and they looked really good. I'm thinking of doing mine Takata Green this winter too. Hey Chipmunk, could you photoshop my wheels if I gave you a pic with my winter wheels mounted?

they are winter wheels, its fun to paint them crazy colors... haha

note: I am no photoshop expert--this is the only real thing I know how to do as of now...

I'm almost set on green--it truly is between lime green and goldish bronze....hmmm or I am leaving them for this winter and dealing with it next year

edit: rainbow was gf's idea.....i thin kit looks amazing, but sends a mixed message....yes reserved for miatas

edit #2: speaking of miatas, maybe Phen will come home to some new rockin' wheels......hehehehe

edit#3: black/green is nice, but it seems everyone does that anymore. How about black/red since my calipers are already red? something like this:

i think the red is better....but i wasn't a fan of the other color options...i'm into black on black...all black...i wish my car was black (it's some strange brownish black color that sucks)....

i say if you want subtle go bronze... if you want to turn heads do orange or blue wheels

so i got 2 thumbs up from people driving by me on the highway on my way to the doctors today over lunch, then had 2 other people give me thumbs up on the way home from work.... guess the olive drab wheels are a hit hahaha

My summer wheels are Black ultraleggera's on my black mica car. I love it! But I want something different for the winter--something crazy and fun, I think.

I'm considering selling my stockers and buying either 17" oem mazda6 5spokes or a set of rx8 wheels and painting those....

Yeah I agree. Subtle=gold/bronze Wild=green for me (orange looks bad with red calipers and I just don't like the color blue. It doesn't do it for me)

Go green have you though of maybe a comelion color like oceans or copper. A color that would shift to the color od light would besweet too.

Now you are starting to sound like my girlfriend when we discussed this earlier and played with photoshop:

Me: "Orange and Red looks bad. My calipers would need to be black."
Her: "Then paint them black."
Me: "But then that throws off my whole red/black summer theme."
Her: "Then paint them red in the summer."
Me, voice raising: "I'm not painting my calipers twice a year!"
Her: "FINE! THEN DON'T DO ANYTHING!!!"
