I think I've made at least 3 tools using a socket welded to a piece of flat bar stock to get the nut off the top of a strut.... Lets you put the Allen key thru the top to stop the shaft from spinning. Seems like every car I get has different sizes... I now have a collection haha!I made my own stupid tool to turn the piston in on my 3. I took an old/cracked socket of the right diameter and ground it down leaving two nubs to fit the holes in the piston. Worked like a champ. I borrowed a universal piston tool (looks like a cube) that did not have the right size. Went to Autozone and rented their tool kit, also did not have the right size. I was desperate.
