Thanks everyone just let me know when you want my winter set up James. Ivan I got the lip here for you too whenever you want it I'll just give it to you for 50 since ur phens roomie and he's helped me out a few times. Plus it's a little beat up let me know when you want to get it and you can pay whenever or next time I'm up north i will just drop it off.

Thank you but if you're going to give it to me for 50, you can count on me for some help in the future. I'm a little old fashioned when it comes to all that. I can stop by sometime this week to drop off the cash and pick it up. I'll let you know over text. Once again thank you and oh congrats on the truck. I hope you enjoy it (2thumbs)

Nice truck. I just got to ride in a 2011 5.0 F150 yesterday and it's got plenty of power. White is always my last choice for a truck, as it shows rust so quickly, but other than that, it looks like you got the good options. Post some pics when you get it in the mud! :)

They are going to be a little tall on the Protege, but they'll work. Not a bad price at all.

^ maybe I got the z plan so I don't think they can adjust the price much.

They sure can. You just don't tell them you're using the z-plan (or s-plan, if you're a part of Mazdaspeed Motorsports) until after you've completed the negotiation. Once you've settled on a price, that's when you bring it up. And they'll roll their eyes, but f*** 'em ;)

So S-plan is invoice pricing minus all dealer or customer incentives. What is the likelihood of negotiating a price lower than that? Not counting the 2011s now that 2012s are out.

And if you do negotiate a lower price, what then would the S-plan get you?

That's what it's supposed to get you, no question asked. You get a dealer to actually show you their dealer invoice if you're good lol

I have a set for my car already, just posting this for anyone who'd need them.

Wish I would've held off a little longer on my set and waited for something cheaper like this set, I paid $300 and the guy gave me a hard time about giving them to me for "that cheap".

It was invoice price and I got the rebates or else I could have 1.9% ford financing but chase gave me 3% bc I had a car loan through them and was little cheaper that way. With the z plan he said if they even give like free mud flaps and get audited by ford they will lose being able to sell x and z plans for a yr. Maybe he was lying but seemed like a good guy my parents bought their last two cars from him.

Fair enough, maybe you actually found an honest dealer. Which is weird, let's be honest.

My bet is that he was lying. Why would Ford care if the dealership gave stuff away on their dime to make a sale? But it's not that big of a deal it sounds like you got a pretty good deal.

so, things haven't turned out as I was expecting so I'm looking for winter tires for the MSM. Waiting to hear from a guy on craigslist but I might end up getting a set for the Racing Hearts

unless someone knows of a $500 car I can get that does't need a lot of work to get me through this winter?
