Nice! Are the ties needed to hold it in place? In retrospect, the whole thing was sort of a bad deal because everybody's knobs are different shapes and sizes--without seeing them in person, it would defeinitely be hard to knit a cover to perfect fit... Hope you like it, and thanks!

edit: If those ties are not needed, they can be cut and pulled out without harm to the actual cover. Oh, and I'm supposed to say that it is machine wash cold/tumble dry! Enjoy!

edit2: Evan #2, yours is shipping tomorrow. the gf's mom wanted to add ties to yours as well to make sure it fits okay

the ties are not needed but they're helpful. it stays in place and it moves around a little, which feels weird but also NOT COLD! I like it, much better than pulling my sweater down, thanks man

Ya I personally like the roof view, where all you can see is the hood of the car. I always used that in GT4 so I'm used to it. Plus, not all cars in GT5 are Premium, so most don't have the cockpit view

Well, just got an update on Spicy, the work has started!! The core finally came in, Rick @ Big 3 Racing is fabricating the piping for it now. In addition he is fabbing new brackets for the radiator and upgrading the fans as well. He will be taking pictures of the work as it progresses, which I wil post.

Can't wait, especially with the SS AFC and a decent tune....should be a better performing car all the way around. Looks like I will have a few items to sell once it is done. Hard pipes and SMIC. Hopefully it will be done in time for body work and paint before VIR.

I like the bumper view best, but I use cockpit view when I can on Forza3. Some of the cars it's just stupid on, like a lot of the race cars.

These guys are in Brunswick, 303 & 130th...the do good work. The are the ones that worked on Fez's Speed 6, believe me these guys know there stuff and they are really reasonable. So let me know when you are ready and we'll set you up big time. These guys can custom make headers as well.
