****. Pulled CEL P0300 random cylinder misfire today. Now to see which one of the 18789763786 things it is.....

Yup I figured. I went to advance today and ordered new coil packs. Also bought NGK iridium plugs. I also bought oil and an oil filter along with some engine restore (which has worked very well for me in the past). I also bought some brakleen. Coil packs are coming in tomorrow morning and will be installed tomorrow afternoon, EGR will be pulled and cleaned tomorrow as well. Today I did the oil change along with swapping of the spark plugs. One of the plugs and the pack for it looked like ass. They were autolite platinum plugs from last year. Either way, I cleared the code, changed all that out and added the engine restore. She started up nicely and idled very smoothly. The real test will be when I drive back to my apt on the highway. Hopefully I don't have that s*** happen to me again.

Good call on ordering the coil pack. That's what I figured it would be too. And I just cleaned my EGR valve yesterday, it was really easy but my P5 idles smoothly anyway so I didn't notice a difference. I just had two of the screws stuck so I had to use some vise grips to loosen them, but it's cake.

Let us know how she runs tomorrow after the coil pack is installed.

Well it ran perfectly on the the way home on the highway. I'm still going to clean the EGR and swap out the coil packs tomorrow just to be safe. The new spark plugs make the car feel so much better though. I just can't wait to go turbo and get rid of this bad exhaust sound I'm getting being NA.

thanks guys.. i should have it done in a few hours.. not in any rush.. just wanna get it done.. hardest part i think will be pulling the turbo and manifold off both cars.. thats gonna suck.. oh well.. im not pressed to get it all done fast though.. i have extra cars.. so i can take my time on it!
