The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Heh. Yeah, I have a Mk1 Rabbit Convertible now. So my good friend Tom had it for a bit. Had issues with his project to running car ratio. Ambition outweighed actual completion. He offered me a deal. A lot of misc parts I had left over from a variety of cars (so he can sell them) for the car. One night over a couple beers, I told him the only way I'd ever get back in a VW... Dammed if he didn't remember. So in a nutshell... I didn't pay s*** for it.

Sounds like a win to me. Less stuff on the garage and a car to fiddle with... Good deal!!

But let's see you've owned a miata, fiat and now a rabbit convertible.... Those may be 3 of the gayest cars around.... I may have bad news for you :P

Touche' douche' hahahaha.

So after getting dinner last night with the goofball Michigan guys and gals last night, I got to thinking...it's been a while since we've done a dinner meet.

Anyone up for a meet in the next few weeks?

qft x2. Now you just need a mazda2 and you are all set. :D

Man, I love that flipping song. I play it every Friday in the office (and when I used to work in the shop) and it just never gets old. We all crack up every time. It's just SOOOOO bad.

I'm always down for a dinner meet.

I want to play it for Kennedy so she knows it's Friday and can learn the other days of the week but I'm afraid she might not get it's so bad it's good.

If I had kids I would regulate what music they listen to since I'm a music Nazi. No Justin Beiber or Miley Cyrus or any of that pop garbage. There is a good kids album from Medeski Martin and Wood I would approve my kids could listen to.

"Where's the music" is a badass tune (11:13)

to use some one else post: what an interesting mix of good music and weirdness! :)

I can jam out to this at work, until youtube crashes my computer...

Haha, yeah, it's a really good album. Funky enough for adults and goofy enough for kids.

I did play Green Onions by Booker T & the MG's a couple times. She'll smile and bob her head up in down.
