The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

My solution.

we have one at my aunt's house, still works. Its been there ever since I can remember...

That is interesting technology. I'm unsure if the tower out back makes it better or worse for battery life. I know my signal is excellent.

Sohan, were you on VZW when you had your G2?

I really have a hard time leaving HTC for anything else on the market, they have done me right every time.

I had an active g2 on every carrier. Vzw was my personal line though

If you are on Cyanogen then you are rooted / strapped.
Which means you can push different radios onto your phone to improve your reception, which /should/ improve your battery life.
I've always had custom radio with my droids. Pretty content with htc one so haven't even rooted it yet. Even tether works with no root. :yay:

Oh and it was recently updated with kitkat.
Just don't care for the bland interface.
And launchers don't change the status bar colors. boooo

CM would allow one to change radios, but since my phone was the phone to fall through on support completely, only one radio actually works, and that's the oem radio.

With your one, do you think it's big enough for day to day plus navigation?

I think so..
Originally I thought it would be too big, but it's very thin and just as wide as my last phone = easy to hold in one hand and fits in every pocket.
It's perfect with Waze, but I did have one issue with g maps. When you click off a point, it ends up being just a tiny red dot, which is really tough to click on. I think it's g maps fault though, not the size of the phone screen.

I only use waze. The only real reason I was thinking of jumping into the phablet category is because Autodesk 360 would be nicer on a larger screen, but I've been using PDF plan sets more than 360 lately.

Man do I over analyze and second guess myself.

my cell phone does this cool thing where it let's me talk to people or text them.

Funny you say that, my wife has been on the phone 1302 minutes this month, and sent 1349 text messages.

Me on the other hand, 84 minutes, 170 text messages, but over 5gb data. Most of my texting is via google hangouts or viber (to talk to my sister in Florence)

3077 text messages, 34 minutes, 12.164 GB here. And my texting has been down lately. 8k was not unheard of lol....

Chase sucks major donkey balls. ******' tards

Now that the NWOR schedule is out I'll have to post some dates for the Corey Invitational. They are repalacing the Fostoria events from years past with the newer events at Owens Community College. They are trying to run the same course setup like at Fostoria and keep timed records and map a perminent course for years to come. It was a neat venue while it was at Fostoria and people would come out just to get the record for their class. Just another idea besides the Airport events. I'll check with the guys to see how the are going to do it.
