The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

Problem with Ohio and front plates is too many neighboring states don't require them: Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, West Virginia. If you live near any of the borders you can pretty much run without a front plate because the police won't know if you're in-state or out-of-state. I only get nervous when I'm heading into central Ohio (Columbus, etc.)

You can always put a Mazdaspeed or manufacturer fake plate on it.

I have my front ohio plate on that I ordered to get rid of the farm scene. But the tow hook mount ($72) plates ($15) hex head bolts for plate and mount ($10) tinted cover ($12) total ($109) Thanks ohio

I'm gona be pissed if the front plate requirement gets removed, since I had to drill holes in my front bumper for the plate.

I just DGAF about front plates. I will gladly pay for the ticket over put holes in my front bumper or buy any of the relocation kits.

I've had two dealerships do that without my asking. I'm still pissed off and I don't even own one of those vehicles any more. "But it's Ohio law." they say. My only response is "What if I'm not registering it in Ohio?" I've got four holes in the front of a $50K vehilce that piss me off every time I walk by it.

And that's what's ****** up about Ohio plates. It's not really the fact that we have to run a front plate. It's the fact it costs so damn much for it. The wife just renewed her CR-V's plates. $55! And that's just standard plates.

I told my sales guy that I would flat refuse delivery of the car if they did that. I didn't need the car so I would've just ordered another one.
