The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

I owe the city of akron a ton of $. Work doesnt take out city taxes since I'm all over the place, and i never realized it until i got my W2. Gonna have to start paying the taxes quarterly or something so i dont have to come up with a lump sum every year

Plus, if you don't pay quarterly, the give you a P&I of like 15% on top of the lump sum. I forgot this year to pay quarterly and had to pay the P&I. Writing a check for nearly 1300 bucks sucks when it comes to taxes, just ******* city taxes.

I claim 0 on my taxes even though I have to kids and I claim a lot of stuff including all the interest on my school loans, kids, still going to school, day care, and some other crap. It pays for our honeymoon, my Enkei RPF1's, BFGoodrich Rcomps, and some other bills.

I have taxes taken from Beachwood, Parma and Independence......since I am no longer working in Indy, I don't have to pay those at all. We used to have to pay yaxes, but we had additional witholding taken out and now we get a refund from the feds.....

I do my taxes early, that way if i have to scramble for money I didn't plan for, I have time to find it.

I got $1back from Parma, don't know what I am going to do with all that money!!!

i owed PA and Bridgeville... both were so miniscule that i dont have to pay

PA was like 2 cents, and Bridgeville was 8 cents. both booklets said anything under a buck and you dont have to pay haha

An old co-worker just picked up an e46 m3 with the SMG transmission...shifts slow for a paddle shift/dual clutch thingy

That's old technology tho. Faster than a human, but not as fast as a new car.

That's better than the last few years for you. (lol2)

I close next Wednesday, thats the good news.
The bad news, dealing with utility companies is a complete pain in the ass.

I love my job. My co-worker was spelling out a customers name that started with a P. He said "P as in pterodactyl.". LOL!

I'm going to start using that when I need to spell things out phonetically. It would be great to use on one of those phone support people.

I did alot of sesame street & muppets when I worked on the phones.

next telemarketer to call im going to just answer and do the elmo laugh, say "that tickles elmo" and then hang up

And your Elmo is spot on! He'll be like "dafuq did I just call?". haha
