The Ohio Random Thread... aka We Should Probably Be Working

It has a little orange to it but certain pics do make it look more pink than others. He called it the peach party so I'm assuming its peach in person

Moot point though since he shot it down. I think it would look pretty sweet and be very unique. Oh well, red and silver it is I suppose. Let me guess, black wheels right.

If I painted the bolts on my 1/24 scale model cars with a sharpened toothpick you can paint that rollbar. No excuses.

Do any of you guys have accident insurance (aflac)? I have been thinking about getting it after I broke my leg. We have short term disability benifits at work but it is almost pointless @ $34 per day before taxes. Coverage is available at work but I can't sign up until june.

I have Short Term and the option to buy long term from B of A. When I had my surgery, I got 100% of my pay and long term would have been paid 100% as well. I would look into other providers and see what they have offer.

Amber had it for when she was on maternity leave, I think is was bassically the same as her short term disability benefits as far as payout but paid out the whole time she was out. It was better than nothing and I'm sure there were options for having it pay more.

I am really tired of being this strapped for cash. So stressful! Any benefit would be better than this. But like any ather insurance it is just money out of pocket until you need to use it. I had coverage about 10 years ago and never used it so I dropped it. I will look into it for sure when the time comes. I think everyone should look into it just in case. You never know when you will be laid up for several weeks and not have a paycheck coming in. Trust me the bills don't stop coming in.

I recently just signed up for the accident coverage at this past re-up. My boss has had it for years, and it covers a s*** ton of stuff. Last year his wife broke her back in a boating incident, and its saved him nearly 10k in medical bills. Doesn't cover lost wages though. They do offer one that covers lost wages though.

EDIT: I think for me and my wife, its like 12 bucks pretax dollars a pay, so I barely even notice it.

Just a quick FYI, I will be meeting with Albert of Block A Chip when he is going to do the clear bra on the MS3 on MOnday. I will be speaking to him and his partner about offering our membership discounts and becoming a partner with MOCO. Once we have the details worked out, I will post up the information on the board. So stay tuned for an update.

Awesome! Albert has done 5 cars between me and my parents.

That's cool. Those of you that have newer/nicer cars can certainly benefit from a deal like that.

I get 80% pay for up to 13 weeks for short term, and long term disability is 40% for up to 180 calendar days. not too shabby.

That would be great Albert did my Speed3 in '07 and it still looks good. I wish we would have done the CX-7 the hood is pretty beatup since we both drive 95% highway miles.
