Ya, good news...but the question is, what was even wrong?? Was it something with your turbo?

I have seen plugs back out of a head before. I would check the threads and try to put another in there. If the threads are bad you can install a helicoil.

Yep... been there, done that. not too horrible a fix. I've had a plug back out of the Miata before. Put new ones in, tightned down a hair more, all has been well since.

Good news for sure. I posted in the MS3 thread but here's a copy paste of it.

I finally got everything buttoned up and started the car. Swapped the turbo for another stocker, installed SURE Halos injector seals, JBR EGR delete, JBR thermal intake manifold gasket, and cleaned the intake valves. The valves were FILTHY. Extremely filthy. Did the walnut media blast with B-12 chemtool carb cleaner. Took me around 2 weeks since I had a couple of hours after work Mon-Thurs and was back in Columbus Friday-Sunday. It feels amazing to have everything together and the car running.

HUGE thank you to Jake (etipp) who helped me take stuff apart, lent me his media blasting gun and media along with other tools and helped me so much overall.

Also bought a driver's side axle off of fatti from an MS3 with 47K miles. When I replace that, all of the fixes will be complete for now.

Lauri and I were thinking about attending an Akron Aero's game one if these Sunday's. We used to go to the restaurant connected to the ballpark before Superfly Sunday. I think it would be cheap family entertainment on a Sunday afternoon. They're are games on the 19th and the 26th of August. Let me know if anyone is interested in attending.
