ill start.

I didnt get a running start to zoom up my driveway today and got stuck at the base (cant really see the angle on the photos). It had snowed enough that I didnt feel like missing my driveway and tearing up my yard so I went slow...and got stuck. No I didnt try backing up and trying it again (I needed to shovel anyway). ;-)

Ill play....

This is out trip we just took last weekend to June Mt, near Mammoth Mt here in cali.

The car met all my expectations and then some on this trip. Packed to the roof with cargo and 4 large people, lol.

Snow Loads

Interesting to see how our 5 handled the snow loads.

Awesome... Looks a bit like a hood in an area I've been. (boom06)

Interesting to see how our 5 handled the snow loads.

lol at the half snow half off. The snow this morning had doubled since yesterday, if it snows more Ill have no place to put it unless I use a wheel barrow and haul it to the back of my house.

Also...DPhillips, thats a LOT of snow on top of your house...wowzuh, thats got to be a lot of weight, I bet you dont want to be walking out of the house when it decides to slide off.

Lol, That would be pretty funny to get stuck in a avalanche from your own rooftop.

But those are the rental cabins up at the Mt, not my house, lol.

I usually wash the car right away and park where other cars are still
dirty. Makes the mazda5 look like a dealer demo unit.

This was taken yesterday during the Metroplex's record 12" snowfall!

So the blades and wipers dont freeze to the window. If they freeze youll quickly destroy the blade if you try to chip it off, plus its a ton more work than if your blades are up, you can quickly clean that frozen area off. Nothing youll have to worry about in socal until the global warming really starts to kick in :-)

I do it after I park with a warm windshield... If the snow melts and freezes , the wipers can get stuck. Not good.

I guess this will be a good place to ask.....

Why do people put their wipers up when the park in the snow?

Dont forget it looks awesome too. Its like having your pants pulled down wear you show your butt.....but for cars!!!!!!
