The newest Evo

I think it's called EVO 8, but they had one in silver at my local autozone. Very impressive looking, the car seemed over done when I saw it in photos but in person it looks a lot better. The lines on the car remind me of the new Z4.

my friend actually owns one

hes part of team xlerate. yeah we went to laguna seca right after the mazda rev it up event at sf. and my friend soap and i rode in his rsx and my other friend brad, soaps brother pain, and lawrence rode in the evo. it was really fun cuz soap and brad raced like 3 or 4 times. each time the rsx won. the evo is fast as hell but i think the rsx had better gearing so it had better high end. but it was a thrill. i felt like i was driving the car cuz i had a big adrenaline rush the whole time. yeah i was the one who asked them to race. heheh

Was the RSX modded? If not then there is nop way in hell it is winning.

how else could the rsx beat an evo? stock vs stock evo will kill it. but my friends rsx is pretty fast now. hitting 14 flat. hes on the clubrsx.com.

here's one for you....

at our local road course country club one guy recently traded his 3rd gen Rx7 in for a new Evo. The Rx7 guy, and our local hero of one lap fame with his supra took turns lapping the new Evo.

These two were both consistantly about 4 seconds BEHIND the fleet of spec miata's out there... And no, these two are both fantastic road course drivers who would normally be mopping up anything within 100 hp of them...

So much for that....
