I can only go by what most are speculating the numbers to be. Obviously the Si is beating the ms3 to market but I think it stands to reason, based on the limited info that is available, that the ms3 will have at least 220hp. but then again... maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part.

You know the inferiority complex that some of you have is almost to much. Every car out there looks like another car. Hell the protg looks like a cheap nock off of the is300. The RX8 is the only car that doesnt look like another car but its a peace of junk compared to other similar priced sports cars, and god if you dont follow the maintenance recommendations your really gona pay. The civic may have similarities of the Saturn but itll still out perform and out sell the mazda3. I bet in 06 itll be the top compact.

I think you're reading too much into this Hughes... only a select few are bashing the Civic and calling it an "Ion clone" Even if the car did look like an Ion, it's like your mom used to say... it's what's on the inside that counts! lol obviously the civic, being a honda, will be world-class in terms of everything that actually matters. (while the ion is arguably the biggest (not in the technical sense) piece of s*** on the road. I for one don't think it looks like a Civic but who really cares anyway?
Your point about the Protege being a knockoff of the IS is too absurd to even comment on... hopefully you know this. The RX-8 bashing was almost as ridiculous. Come on man, this car is the s***. put the crack pipe down and tell me what car "in it's price range" is superior. Sure, it might require more maintenance than the average car but... hello??? it's a sports car! you want low maintenance buy a freakin Civic! haha

Was at the dealer again test driving a Ridgeline, I ask to test drive the Civic Sedan, all EX's w/ navigation(they had 6 on the lot). I was not allowed because 6 people were signing paperwork to take them home, I called BS, they introduced me to the new owners

Yea I cracked on the 8 but really the car just doesn't live up to the reputation Mazda put out for it. Price doesn't count. If you want a SPORTS CAR and you buy the cheapest one your going to get screwed. Well I would finninsh this but I have to work. How dare them to want me to do that. LOL
