Your best solution is to that that pipe with the flange on it to a shop, have them cut it off, and weld on a GReddy flange.

Do the flange man! GReddy Type-S's are kind of rare these days. I'm rockin' one that I referbished myself a while ago, and I love the sound.

yeah i bought a greddy type s on ebay used. The thing sounded stale compared to other ones. 200 miles later and I got a check engine light from it put on my hks and no more check engine. They sound so nice but a good one is hard to find.

Installed my boost gauge and aem wideband today. Damm its hard to find a good hole in our firewall! My friend may have an HKS BOV for me tommorow and if he does ill be installing the front mount.

yup it's a pain in the neck i had my gauges install and they just found it better to trow the wires under the windshield. and this shop it's the best in the buss they mainly awd cars evos sti's fynetune miami florida.

UPDATE:

FMIC Installed today. Its running even better! Car is looking 10 times better with the FMIC in the front grill. I ended up having an aluminum welder weld my greddy flange on the IC piping. It works great but the greddy outlet is aiming right at the hot pipe. I also painted the bottem IC bracket with black wheel paint and it looks better then plain old aluminum.

I cant believe Cp-e only offers this kit with an HKS flange. It is supposed to be a "Complete Kit", but the average buyer is in for an awakening when he/she has to purchase an HKS BOV for $200+. Cp-e said that they use the HKS flange because that is, "what the majority of our customers run". Yea the majority run HKS because they are forced to with your flange. Anyways, enuff with my bitching. Ill have pics and a vid up soon.

the don't make them, no tuning solution is available for any (if they were out), and gains wouldn't be worth the $1200 spent on cams (if they were available)

Pumps workin great so far! I know i want to get it tuned soon also. I put about 70 miles on the car today so im getting there. I dont know if Im going to be able to get it tuned before Christmas but ill try.

is there a normal break in period for new parts like lets say a FMIC, Fuel Pump..etc.. before u have a tune?

Heres how im conducting my break-in:

Engine: 500 miles driving easy. If I bring the rpms up high, I do not get into any boost.
Clutch: 500 miles driving easy.
FMIC: Disconnect battery. Reconnect battery when installation is complete. Let the car idle for 15-20 minute. Drive.
Fuel Pump: Idle for 1 hour. 1st day drive easy. 2nd day drive easy. 3rd day drive.

okay i have about 1000 on the FMIC and all of my other mods.. im getting the CDFP after the hoildays and then if the weather isnt too bad up here ill go get it tuned within the month.. i was assuming to drive easy of course but u never know.

FMIC and fuel pump dont require break-in, however, Mrlilguy suggests that you give idle time for the fuel pump along with driving easy for a day or 2 to check for any malfunctions or leaks.
