The Moderately Low (Not Slammed) and Functional Thread

not so functional when your wheel flies off your car while driving! I ruined my lip and fender...

probably forgot to tighten the lugs? maybe? it happens. just be glad you didnt veer and hit anything or anyone else.

I always torque my lugs twice.............once on install, second 1 week later but when I was towing my car w/o a motor I did forget I had only 3 lugs installed finger tight........ my boy following me noticed my wheel shaking and stopped me............

Yeah, I guess I didn't tightened them as tight as I thought... I'm thankful I wasn't worse and that no one was hurt... On the upside, I still get to drive it...

Same thing almost happened to me a week after taking it off the lot. Changed the brake pads and didn't retorque one of the wheels lugs. Heard a thump thump thump and thought the cv axle. Good thing I jumped out and checked my lugs. That's a bummer dude but at least its not worse!

At least it's repairable/replaceable.

Well, I'll throw my little hoopty into the mix as well. I think it's low enough for my daily. It's got it's fair share of battle scars but it's all mine!

New pics...
New tires 205/45/17 rather than the 205/40/17 before. Same Bridgeston Potenza RE760s though. I think ti fills the wheel well up a bit better.
