Let's talk about some of the cool design things we love about our cars....for instance the cool indirect blue lighting in the GT's.......your turn......:)

k I will tonight. Another cool feature on the GT is the button on the back hatch that allows you to unlock the doors keyless-ly.

The auto lock feature (activated by your local dealer) locks all doors, arm the alarm system, after all doors are shut (without having to press any button) and the driver walk away.

Post a pic of your blue lighting at night if you can. I can't find a pic anywhere.
Hopefully this is the blue you are talking about. The first picture is the guages on night brightness, second is day brightness.

Awesome night pics. I kept telling everyone the blue-lit guages were identical to the RX-8 GT guages, but they are slightly different. On the day brightness is the guage lettering still red or does it go white like the RX-8?

Nope....stays orange in daytime...just gets brighter. I loved the fact on the 8 you could have either white or orange!!!

Xavier......I think they wanted the tiny blue light in the ceiling over the shifter...at least that is what I was referring too. GT has it.

Cruz, You should be able to press and hold the unlock button to have all the windows go down (this is how most cars do it). I thought it was a standard feature; should be in the owner's manual.

Oh....you are probably right...I think the salesman showed us but I could not remember for sure and how he did it. Thanks for your help!

Oh that thing? I find that kind of a nuisance but I love the blue guage light

Stangmatt....I tried holding down unlock button to open all windows etc.....no luck...hmmmm.....I will check manual.

I know this is cheesy, but 1 touch driver AND passenger opening and closing, as well as the moonroof having that luxury as well! My Protege5 does not have the one touch "up" option, and it sucks holding the window up switch when leaving toll booths in the rain, and shifting at the same time.

Look at page 3-40 in the owner's manual. It describes the process:

"With unlock button (Keyless entry system)
Press the unlock button on the transmitter
and hold it. After the doors and the
liftgate are unlocked, the windows fully
open automatically. To stop this operation, press the unlock
button."
