ok i have a 03.5 msp have had it in the shop for the sway bar bushings making a ton of noise in very little time. have had other issues with interior (cosmetic things) but my tires have always worn terrible on the the inside driver side only. the dealerships says there is no problem and the tire shop blames it on negative camber. but to no avail i still am destroying tires. passenger tires wear normal but still after yet more money spent the driver side tires are about shot again. oh yeah and just this past weekend the kdc-mp919 s*** out on me. really everytime i have contacted mazda about anything dealing with my car they really could care less. well if anytone can shed some light on any of my issues would be appreciated. the head unit i have to pull have a guy to replace the ribbon.

Headunit = Normal
Swaybar bushings = normal

For the camber, have you had someone other than Mazda do an alignment on it?

yeah the tire shop. but dont quite understand if it is the camber then why is is only on one side? and are there any aftermarket bushings that last a bit longer?.

Shoot a picture of the top of the struts under the hood.

I am interested in the location of the paint dots on them..

I bought a set of Energy Suspension bushing off the shelf from AutoZone. They are a bit wider than stockers and the bracket needed to be bent to conform to the same mounting angle as the stockers, BUT they have fixed the clunk and they come with a grease fitting. I think I paid $20 for the pair. HTH!

Restart your battery and your cd player might fix itself. I've had mine replaced like 3 times, but this last time after not working for months I unhooked the negative cable on the battery, put it back on and the cd player works again.

thanks guys have hit the reset button many times i just attempted the battery and nothing. here are 2 pics one of the head unit and one under the hood (sorry its filthy)

^^ The Dots are where they should be, so the camber is likely fine providing it wasn't curbed or hit a massive pot hole..

not curbed and no potholes i can recall.... had the dealership look at all of the suspension they found nothing.... but could not help but feel that they were stalling me. b/c now i am out of warranty and they dont have to really fool with me. thanks for the help though. nice to have people who feel my pain....now a pain in my pocket fix/or replace head unit

ok guys my check engine light came on so i hooked it up to a friends handheld and got a code for intake manifold runner stuck closed????? if anyone has any insight it would be appreciated!

dude it sounds like the toe is iff on the drivers side tire.. that will cause the inside of the tire to wear for sure. is you steering wheel off center while going straight down the road?
