Ok guys..... I'm stock w/only the res removal and etb ground mods done.

So here we go again..... how much of a performance increase is to be had w/aftermarket cat-back (average). My preference is Draxas.

Would it be more of a benefit to me if I got the cai and finished the intake mod instead and saved some $$$. (nervous)

Avg hp gain and mileage gain (if any).....???

cat back is prob around 8-12 hp and trq and an intake is like 6-10 hp and usually a bit more trq.... i would say go with both...??...

I have both the Injen CAI and the Draxas Cat-Back with the high flow cat and found it to be a worthwhile investment. I haven't had my stuff dynoed yet but AzMz3 has. He has an aem cai and the draxas catback with the off road pipe option. He saw a gain of about 13 hp at the wheels and I don't remember how much torque. Search in this section of the forums if you want to see the dyno slip.

Got to have a way to get the air out that you pull in.

While the minimal gains will probably be similar from each mod, and they really work best when used together, you may feel the difference more with the exhaust first.

I'd do the exhaust first.

Thanks fellas...

I still may go with both.. I was just trying to stretch what's left of my tax return. It'd be really nice to go from stock to feeling both upgrades.

decisions, decisions... (cabpatch)

Exactly, I want the damn header already...as you can see below I have both CAI and caback and I think the headers would be a great way to finish off making this car "breathe" like it should...

I'll tell you this, I got the cai a few months before the exhaust(was on back order), and that helped me really appreciate and feel BOTH mods since I had just gotten used to the cai, and then when I added the exhaust I felt the diff. Keep in mind, you're not gonna gain 15hp+15hp from this as mentioned below...(if it were only that easy), I think mlong's #'s were much more accurate, but dont just look at the numbers b/c anyone can claim/manipulate numbers.....rather try and take advice from the people(not just us) that have already done it....
