YEa that's a good point, I could always do the same kind of thing and just compare it with and without. a muffler after the resonator is taken off. I am in the process of selling it but I can still keep it, but it won't help much because I think it is the Apexi N1 N/A muffler not the more popular (and more expensive) Turbo muffler.
 
I ran 2.5 from the flange ahead of the second cat (header flange) back to the factory rear section. It didn't hardly sound any different that stock with the Racing Beat rear section. I gueass it sounded a little deeper and more revvy at higher RPM. I then built a new rear section that bolts on in place of the Racing Beat that has a American Auto Polished muffler with a 4.5 in. tip. This made it a lot deeper and quite a bit louder. It sounds sweet idling and at high RPM but there is quite a bit of resonance in the middle. It's worth dealing with I guess. I'm not going for the family sedan thing here, so it's cool. I need to get some pics going someday!!
