Test Pipe, Race Pipe, Mid-Pipe

Any problems with the car since installing JUST a race/mid/test pipe to the otherwise stock exhaust??? ie, smell, fumes, smoke, other. Please specify!

i've had mine in for a little over a week, and haven't had any problems. it's a great mod for the money.
mine is leaking though, which isn't a big deal, so it sounds a little odd at wot

I get backfiring and popping from my PG testpipe, but I also have both resonators and the muffler cut out and straight pipe in. Mine hauls ass but due to lack of backpressure its pretty loud/gargly. I have no fumes or smoke that I know of, but it is a bit poppy if I shift at high rpm.

PhillyB was over at my house when we both installed ours. His sounds really nice with JUST the tp in there and the rest of the piping being stock. We both have the same BPV and intake setup as well, only difference is mine has the stuff cut out on the bac portion of the exhaust piping

otherwise if you just put in the testpipe and leave everything else alone, its a great sound and performance feel for the price. If you want loudness, just start straight piping the other stuff with your muffler shop.

we each did a quick driveby video after the install, I recorded his I just havent uploaded it onto youtube yet. But as far as I know his is working fine.

I had testpipes on my 350z and I got used to the smell that those actually made, but on this car I can honestly say I don't smell anything different (in case you are worried about cops smelling it at a stop light or something). Smoke wise I havent seen any, but I rarely look behind me to check.

nah, no problems with smoke or fumes. in fact, i love this mod. the sound is deeper and a little louder. it's got more of a hum. i love it.
