So far only 2 or 3 cars to work on, is that right? Need to start making room, this weekend is the Dday for me to clear everything out I need to. I am good if only 4 cars or so but more than that I will need to move projects outside and cover them. Let me know. BTW no trouble to move them outside just need to know so I can, I would hate to do it and then have 2 cars show and have all that extra room to be vacant. God Bless

Well plans have changed.

The girlfriend is coming with me and I need to meet people to trade some things. So, I will probly just drive down there and trade some things take a few pics and stay about an hour and probly head back.

4 hours!!!????!! My wife would be through with $200 before I could get out of the parking lot.

I am still in the air about driving up for this. I have a manifold that I and Porting and gasket matching, but I am trying to decide if I am going to do the 626 mani or this one with VTCS removed and ported. Either way I would like to be around other people removing the same things at the same time. Have any of you removed the intake mani before or would all of us be winging it with good mechanical knowledge? I am going to post up in my section to see if anybody wants to ride with me, is there any limit to a number of people you don't want to exceed? Not that a bunch of people are coming with me, I just don't want to step on anybody's toes if I was to show up deep.

I say we all meet up at Halfshafts house. Cruise to get some food then go take some pictures and chat for a bit then once u guys go back to his house to work on yours guys cars, I will probly head back home.

Anyway bring some people on and if you get bored then take a trip to run the dragon or the next best thing is graysville mountain about 20 minutes from here. not sure, i have to put an engine in my buddys car on sunday..suxs, not sure if i want to make the drive and spend the money and have to leave early to get back home.. im trying to move this to an other week, but hes without a car, and ill have help that weekend.. but, deals gap and working on mazda's is one hell of a weekend to me.. ill let you guys know soon

preping the car for one of my deals gap trips.. (miatas at the gap) shes clean and sporting some new goodies.. brakes didnt come in till day before but we got them on.. looks good works well! OBX header, mid pipe, ,underdrive pully,rotors and pads,rear strut tower brace,awr side mount incerts,awr rear incert (not installed yet), new tires, kartboy shifter bushings, a few other things are the new parts this year..
MP3 ECU (pick up for protege2k a while back), AWR rear sway, skunk2 coilovers, camber bolts, MSP axle back, ebay CAI, sparco harness.. and few other small things.. i hope i can make to see all the other cars and to check out the mods, should be fun...i have some small projects to keep the car up to work on now.. new mods, flywheel and clutch this time next year, mabey cams.. cam gears for sure.. new suspension soon and mabey new seats and harnesses.. lots of ideas and no money

took two days to install the NEW parts, clean and 5 stages of wax.. ther will a much smaller list next year for new parts ,camgears and clutch/flywheel.. then i will be broke again....lol

Which road are you talking about for Graysville Mtn.? I was in Bledsoe Co. last week for an appraisal...southwest of Pikeville. I had to go up College Station Mtn. road for the first time. As soon as I started up, I thought to myself, "Wow! This is at least as fun as going up Hwy. 30 west of Pikeville, and there can't be a cop within 10 miles of here." Needless to say, I was running hard going up. It's a short steep road with perfect sized curves. I round the second to last turn (balls out) and there's a sherrif's deputy standing in the road! He came up to the car with this look of disbelief and shaking his head, as he had evidently heard me coming the whole way up. Turns out a log truck had stuck itself in the last curve and he was directing traffic. He was not a happy camper, and if he hadn't been busy I would have probably gotten my first ticket in 10 yrs. He said what I deserved to hear, and I treated him with respect. I passed him on Hwy. 127 about an hour later...going right on the speed limit...and he smiled and waved at me. I think he was chuckling a bit. Oh well, that's what I get for thinking there couldn't possibly be a cop around. That thought was literally gone in 60 seconds.

BTW, I got my AXR clunk fix bracket on. If you guys haven't seen it installed you'll be able to check it out.

i got the room at motel 6 im driving up friday and getting up and driving to haftshafts in the morring the hotel is just east of nashville on i-40 exit 221
does anyone from nash know where that is i was hopping that some of us could drive to the meet together thats why i got the hotel on the way out of nashville
