teins or ground control

Does anyone here have any of these two coilovers on their car?
I was looking to buy either one but wanted to know if the Teins are worth the extra $$. Who has ground control coilovers on this board and how well do you like them?

which teins? sorry im new to the msp suspension oferings but i had tein ful coilovers on my 240sx, if its a full coilover system, nuttin beats that, the springs and dampeners are designed for each other, something a sleeve coilover (gc) cant accomplish sometimes.....

I had Tein SS on my b15 and I liked them a lot. Good drop with good ride quality and awesome handling. Although I did have strut and sway bars to help with that

If you're racing, go with the gc's. A friend of mine has them on his M3, and they are incredible. Just my 2 cents. And put a camber kit on it when you do it.

If you can't afford JIC Magic, then Teins are the nearest to a true racing coilover.

I vote for Teins

The guys at tein were talking about bringing out the basic kit for the protege's, it should be around $750.00 when it comes out it December.

This kit your talking about, for that price, what's it come with? Springs and dampeners? What about struts/shocks? Just asking because I'm thinking about blowing something like $700-$800 on suspension. But right now, I was thinking tokico struts, with eibach pro kit. But if this kit your talking about is a full coilover system with components made for each other, I think I have to wait for it.

A dampener is a shock/strut......gc coilovers are nice if u get it pre made into a full ciolover kit from the gc factory, if u just buy the spring, collars and threaded sleeve then no its not good.....tein basic's are just that, basics, threaded full coilovers, i would make sure its at least stiffer then stock......i plan on custom makin my own coilover system if i dont pick up a second car to setup for track....im enjoying the stock qualities of my suspension right now thou....
