TEIN SS & Rota Sub-Zeros Rubbing

I'm getting some kind of rubbing from the rear. I haven't had a chance to get under there and take a look, just wondering if anyone could suggest what it may be? I'm running 215x45x17 on Rota Sub-Zero 17x7.5 with TEIN SS coilovers.

It almost sounds like it's only coming from the LR side. When i take a left turn the sound goes away, and gets louder during a right turn. the rubbing noise isn't constant, either. I heard it last night, but not this morning. When it rubs, it does so in a rthym instead of a contant rub.

help?

HOw is your tire balance and alignment?

I kinda had a sound like this, but it was from my wheel not being tight all the way (boom03)

MIght be a hub bearing, jack the car up and spin the wheel. See how much noise it makes and if it's hard to turn.

yea i've seen a few bad wheel bearings, try rasing up the rear on the SS and see if it helps

Wait 215-45s, did you get new tires? Check to make sure the tire's not rubbing on the strut somewhere, maybe on the spring adjuster. Do it pretty soon so you don't f-up a tire.

215x40 my fault

i'll jack it up tonight, when i get home from work
what's weird is sometimes i'll hear it, and sometimes not...

what offset is ideal for the P5? i've heard so many numbers anyone want to give me the best offset to look for. thx

I had the same rim in the same size and i had to have the lip on the hub grinded down because it wasnt letting the rim sit flush all the way around . Its just a problem with that rim and only on the rear.

Those wheels were machined to fit by AutoRnD, they used to be mine.

Oooh okay sorry, just trying to help a fellow P5er!(dunno)

I'm sorry, did I sound like I had attitude, didn't mean to. I just meant that I knew that those wheels in particular had been done, because if you don't buy them through Rishie, then chances are they wil not have been machined. Again didn't mean anything.
