Tec 2 (and standalone) questions, (maybe for SpoolinMp3) ???

My Chime Time

OK Time for me to Chime in here.....A stand alone has not yet been tryed on a Protege to my knowledge but instead of a Tec 2 which are excelent units try looking at the SDS system. Very easy to tune and I have met a few WRX guys around here running it with very good results like 265 whp with the stock turbo on stock boost levels. BTW stock on the WRX is abotu 165 whp parristic loss and factory tuning are not that great from what I understand. Try a stand alone if you want and see what happens both SDS and Haltec have excellent CS to my knowledge I personally have no experience with Stand alones yet but will in the future on a project car i have.

Now to address your initial post as my duty as a moderator. For one man no one here has tried to start a flame war besides you everyone has just replys to your errogant herotic comments in your initial post. If you wanted to ask a question please just do so and don't say things like I'll assume it was a typo and please keep things civil and then the last question of how many turbo cars yes that is a valid question but could come off egotistical after the comments you made previsouly in the post and in your other thread that has some problems. After reading the other thread it seems your started this thread in my mind to directly attack Terry. Terry and I were the first two turbo proteges owned by a private party to my knowledge. Now I am not claiming that we know everythign there is to know about turbo proteges because neither one of us do and probably never will Terry has helped me and I have helped Terry. You say he can't make a good turbo kit well he has extracted the most HP out of any and he has made one of the best looking turbo kits for a Protege. The Numbers he is putting down are alot better in ratio than those I have seen on Honda, toyota, mazda on the average. Most bolt on kits I have seen onlly make between 9-11 HP per 1lb of boost. So his "measily" as you put it 15.8 hp/1lb of boost as you put it is a pretty good number with a simple piggyack control. I'm not trying to get another sarcastic reply from you or anything I'm just saying that this is a civil forum and it is people like you that mess it up. If you want to start discussion wars flame wars or whatever have you then please leave that to the jerks over at ProtegeClub and leave our forum. If not then we will have to take other measures to correct this problem that you are causing within the board. Please either stop attackign forum member or leave at your own discression or we will show the door to you.

i never wanted nor asked you to understand my personality or anything related to it in general, i don't care if you do or don't. the pic in my sig is just an attention getter, don't look at if you despise it that much. i was going to go into the user cp and change it to not post the signature everytime by default, but i think i'll leave it as is now.

as for my waste, if i am a waste, what does that make you, i have forgotten more about cars this year, then you'll learn in a lifetime. so if that knowledge is a wastefull black hole, and you are beneath that, what would you classify yourself as?

What else needs to be undertood about your personality in person? as oppose to online? If you do not have the ability to communicate using the English language in the written form, I would hate to see how you communciate verbally. So please don't proclaim that we are the ones who have failed to understand who you are.

The simple fact that you knew where to get the picture speaks for itself. You ask if I get out much? How does someone within mere moments, source the exact reference to a quote that someone else has shared?

To clarify, not only are you a waste, but what compounds it even more, is the fact that you have so much information that could prove to be so valuable to so many people. You simply lack the social skills to communicate it.

I don't claim to know cars and how they work, but I'm humble and RESPECT those that ask and those that respond with RESPECT.

....anyways, if he wanted to challenge me, he should have at least been capable of accepting his position as the initiating challenging party. its pretty mind boggling how you all defend that, but whatever. what you are failing to realize, is that "terry" came at me, all of this is a response or recourse for that. its pathetic how some have generalized "it is people like you...." . its people like me that call bullshitters out, and don't back down when they come in an overconfident aggressive manner, but thats about all that can be attatched to the beginning of that statement and be accurate. if he'd just fess up, and own up to it like a man, the point would have been dropped long ago, but to make bold statements and then follow them with "nevermind, i have no need to respond to this anymore" is bs, and doesn't fly.

as for my comments on the 15.8 hp per pound of boost, i made 20.592 hp per pound of boost with a bolt on kit on my toyota. thats why i termed it average, maybe that wasn't completely fair, but we were both jawing eachother, with little pot shots at that point, and that is about all it was. i had no idea it would shatter his, and your world's.

if you ban me, it will be of no matter either way, but if it bothered me, i am sure i could resign up through a proxy server, but i'm not here to spam your message board or start s*** with any of your board members, outside of the ones that start such with me. show something outside of the original honda correction post (blyznoo i think it was) where i have been on what could be described as offensive. every other post has been defensive, but either way, slap the ban down if you like. but if you continue to shelter spooly, so that he doesn't have to own up to his comments like a man, you hurting him, not helping him.

says you, but what you fail to realize is that you are basing this generalization on 1 post, maybe 2, but really 1 post, where you had an altercation with me because of some comments that made me think blyznoo was a riceboy. the difference between me and you, is that when i found out that blyznoo wasn't, i regressed on the forum, and changed my posts to reflect that, where as you have just continually attacked, and hence you set the stage to continue the negative feelings you may have about me .... which is due to the negative attitude displayed, and negative responses by me to that attitude. it all comes full circle you see, since you want it to be that way, that is how it is. if you were able to see the big picture, you might look at it differently, try another angle and have a different outcome.

so to sum up that, the difference between you and i, is that i'm able to not make such a general assumption on someone based on such minimal info, or continue to see if that assumption was correct, and so far you have proven not able to do so.

I think everyone is a little bothered by the way you kinda of flagrantly posted a direct question to Spoolin. Which in all honesty, came across a bit rude considering no one knows who you are and you are new to this message board. I too handed a challenge to NC_MP3 about a year ago asking him to explain certain things about how a turbo setup should be. I kinda regret acting like an ass, but all is settled now and no one really cares. I guess what I'm really trying to say is......no one really care about what you know or how much you can teach us if you're acting like an asshole right off the bat Be kind and respect the elders no matter how much they know or don't know. Can we please put the Spoolin VS IS300GTE non sense to rest now? Ok, on with the posting
