my MAM mani cracked on me and it's time to get'er rewelded and jet coated...me an my son just finished installing a new exhaust mani on his jeep, he's got a work truck, so i'll be using the wrangler for a while....i'm not looking forward to taking everything apart but i gotta do it! my idle started going nuts on me last week and has got worse each day, yesterday the car died on me...while it's down i'm going to check the egr, i'm certain it's carboned up...i'll keep you posted...mark.

i'll be an expert on turbo installs (de-installs) by time i'm done!! then mani developed a second crack, so i'm not taking any chances!!

sorry to hear this mark, least you have other cars to drive. i have always wanted a wranger. i am jealuos.......i am pretty good with the protege's EGR valve.......

hope that fixes your idle problem.......

ya, me too! i took it aprt to clean right after i did the turbo kit and it was clean...but after 17k miles with the kit on i can imagine it's pretty messed up...how bad was yours ry?

it craked at the weld, see pic....it also looks like the weld on the far side is cracking now too (ceramic coating peeling off there)

well i took the mani off today and 3 out of the four welds are cracked...(glare) ...going to the welder today and get her fixed...anyone know a ceramic coater local NE? i'm thinking of sending it out to jet hot in PA..they want 120 to recoat it..?
