Cobb TBE is coming down the line quick - should make a nice Christmas present! From Dave, yesterday, in Cobb forums:
"We have what should be the production version in our hands now for SAE J1169 testing. So provided this version passes our testing we are probably 8-10 weeks out. But if it does not pass our testing it will of course be a bit longer."
Sounds very much that they are still planning engine management, however there hasn't been any real hint as to when that's planned. I'm guessing 2nd quarter '08 is about the earliest we can expect a Cobb EM system. That's probably being a little generous?
Waiting on my Cobb SRI is torturous - coming Sept 17, UPS, same day as my Prosport boost gauge and my A-pillar mounting pod! Chose the Cobb because I've read our MS3 and the MS6's have cold weather issues - winter engine bay temps will more regulate incoming air temp, as well I won't have so much tubing everywhere.
