taking a trip to the TAIL OF THE DRAGON

i just went there yesterday it was a blast i ran down a stock msp and talked to them they said that they new a few people that was on the forums it was laser micah blue and was from tenn other than that i really dont know much about the car i had fun... i am up here at western carolina university with my g/f next chance i get to go out there then i will post it up and maybe a few of you local guys can meet up with me and have a lil fun.

did it have Blount County tags on it?

yeah that was my friend Criag. i asked him if he meet anyone with a yellow p5 up there and he said yeah. i told him bout the lil trip in march and he is going to try and come too.

I know that they are going to meet in asheville nc but thats a good hour and fifteen mins away from the dragon so if you all want to meet up then meet them thats fine with me thanks

I was there last summer with over 400 Miatas. There are alot of good roads in addition to the dragon. Run over to Fontana Dam, drive the Cherohala Skyway, etc.

Suggest you all check out who else is up there that weekend. If you get up there with 500 Harleys, it'll be a long slow weekend.

Last summer, an Acura club of about 10 cars went up there, heard there would be "some Miata Club" up there that weekend. Turns out it is over 400 Miatas at our annual gathering. (glare)

the group of people we are going to be there with is about 100 cars so i mean its gonna be crowded and we have posted on about 15 bords and so far we are the only ones that are going to be there

We'll be there, with one of our cars, we are going to be staying @ a Red Roof Inn in Asheville. I know we'll have some members from our Mazda 6 Club from the Southeast coming.

I know there is a 30% chance of rain and a chance of thunderstorms, but looks like it is still on. I will find out how many more 6's are coming.
