Switching from Android to Apple

I have a Mazda6 that I’ve been driving for a while actually since 2018. When I bought the vehicle, I had android devices and added android auto. I recently switched over from android to Apple and I am wondering if there is any instructions to remove android auto and switch to CarPlay?

If there are any forms already listed with this topic, please point me in the right direction after a few searches, I didn’t see anything specific to switching from one to the other. Thank you.

If you added Android Auto using the OEM Retrofit kit, it has the capability to support both AA and Apple CarPlay. So all you'd need to do is plug in your phone and it would recognize the Apple device and open CarPlay (no need to remove AA or switch anything).

If you added an aftermarket system, then you'd need to contact the manufacturer of that system to confirm that you can do the same thing.
