Sway bar bushings

Does anyone know the average cost to have sway bar bushings put on. The dealer showed me my sway bar and pointed out that my rubber bushings were ripped apart and almost gone. What is the normal cost for this repair. He said it would prbably cost about $200. Is this about right?

front or rear? its an easy fix in the rear! def a diy job! havnt done the front yet but im sure they alreant too hard! but instalation at a shop shouldnt be any more than 100 bucks!

$200, thats about right; dealership part/dealership install. If you dont want them to do it go else where, probably a little cheaper. I do like having things done (if I can afford it) at the dealership. It logs an occurence for anything that could lead to something bigger in the future that would put a good will warranty job in play.

What kind of vehicle is it for? What bushings type are they?

If they're the ones located on the cross member under the car, those are real easy to put in. Only problem could be if you have to take off the swaybar endlinks and gain more clearance.

Post pics and more info or keep us updated on what you do.
