He is actually not a real person. The character known here as "Swampass" is actually just a simple computer program I created awhile back to mimic a mildly eccentric online personality. It is based on an algorithm I discovered for disassembling seemingly normal thoughts and observations found in text form and then reassembling them into more interesting combinations. The almost 98% effective result is to make the reader go "Hunh, what?" and then subcribe to the thread for reasons they don't quite understand. I've tried revising the program on occasion to emphasize, say, crankiness or friendliness, but the neutral personality seems to be the most successful.
Sorry if this is all a bit of a letdown for everybody who thought Swampass was a real guy with hints of creative genius.
