" Ford/Mazda CD3 platform used by the larger Mazda CX-9/Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX" I have read this from wiki.. So does it mean we can use Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX's front and rear suspension? As direct fit replacement?

CX9 used Ford Duratec 3.5 and Edge's chassis (and modified both eventually).
(Ford owned Mazda (>34%) at that time - no more. Ford now owns about 13% only)
However. that does not imply the suspension components are the same. You have to
check. Easiest way would be to shop for suspension components online, and see if the
same component can fit both vehicles. They should have check the fitment already.

Ok! Its just so frustrating shopping for aftermarket parts. Its like CX9 is non-existence.
