Some of you folks are swapping out your springs, struts and shocks. To ensure that you torque everything properly, I attached a little help.

I scanned it with my iPhone so I apologize for any inconvenience.

Do not make a habit of asking for stuff like this, but I will try to help as possible. You have a 1-3 day lag as my Shop Manual resides at the Garage where I do my work due to its size (BIG).

COOL ! ! !

Thanks J2. Time to re-torque. And, just in time for sway bar installation...........

Very good of you to post this info.

Much appreciated,
John

Thinking a bit further (out of character for me)........

This should get stickied somewhere! ! !

J2, if you get bored, the alignment spec's and front brake component torque spec's would be very helpful and appreciated by many.

John

Thanks for moving the forum forward!!!!!!

I'm assuming that you work at a Mazda dealership. Do you think any beefier Mazda/FoMoCo brake parts would fit the M2, like bigger rotors or calipers?

Thanks,
John

I do not work at a dealership. I like to work on my own stuff therefore I purchased the workshop manual.

Joker2, where did you get the shop manual? Just went to Mazda dealership and asked them to order one?

I called Mazda Motorsports Development and they shipped it to me. It is print to order. Not a stock item. You call them, you pay, you wait, they print and ship.

Thanks, Joker2!

So, that would assume one have to be a member with Mazda Motorsports?

Nope! You can order it through your dealer but may have to hold their hand a bit. It is discounted at Mazda Motorsports Development. I like hard copies so I can thumb through them, stick some notes, flag pages and remove pages for a job and pin them on a cork-board. Better than e-copy.
