Suspension noise...

I've had my MP3 for almost a year now, and a few months ago I started noticing a lot of squeaks coming from my suspension. This mostly happens when the car is cold (in the morning). I took it to my dealer when I first noticed. They said a couple of the bushings were bad, and they replaced them. This only solved the problem temporarily. I keep meaning to take it back, but I'm just so damn busy.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else has gone through this.

Thanks.

Hehe most everyone with an MP3 has had the squeaky thing...it's a product of having a performance suspension unfortunately...once it warms up a little, the problem goes away.

The other sound that is also suspension related is a "clunking" sound that appears to come from the rear end of the car when going over bumps etc regardless of the temperature. This is a fixable problem, but there hasn't been a universal fix as of yet. The bushings being replaced with larger ones is a fairly common fix for the problem that at least seems to work however.

Welcome to the boards and enjoy your time here.

Here is an update about my squeaking and clunking...I got the bushings replace...no noise for three months...then it started again...now instead of using tape, they are going to use rubber..going to get it done next week...YAY!! also getting my stolen emblem replaced under the warranty...double yay!!!
