supercharged p5

oh god, here we go again. I hate to be "that guy" that "pwns the noobs" but seriously, you gotta search on this one. Get your reading glasses out too... a LOT of history on this subject.

Yeah, but did you hear about the green p5 truck conversion?

::ducks::

(smash)

defunct company known as Area51 made a kit, and yes there was WOMP. its just as cheap/expensive to turbo the car and there is more power potential going turbo.

Supercharge + Protege = ...

Never mind what the valvecover says, that's a Mazda FSDE.

Used to cost around $4000+++. Now it's around 3k. Add shipping and taxes, might cost you around 4k or more, anyway. Claimed power is 180 hp for the 130 hp motor (195 for the 140).

Don't know anyone who's actually bought one, though... more potential with turbo. Cheaper, too.

Oh... and it's likely the computer bundled with the kit will not work with the US OBDII ECU. You can try, but the wiring diagram that comes with the kit will not match up.

^ Yeah..We know.

Not like its never been for sale before....

For like three friggin years!

im seriously just going to buy that ugly ass truck one day so i can stop seeing it for sale

and so i can take that s*** apart and put all the nice stuff on my car, ie brakes turbo some interior

then off to the junkyard lol

edit: they tinted the gauge cluster glass, haha FAIL!!

thats just plain not good, ive heard of people complaining the lights on the dash aren't bright enough but never of that before...odd

I've taken nearly the entire interior apart and everything has had a black film over it. Inside of the door skins was the worst. I need to figure out how to take the dash apart and get into the cluster to clean that out... but it may wait till spring when its warmer.

AAI supercharge kit

AAI motorsports got workshop in Ontario, CA. I guess. You might be able to check out with them.
