Sweet - I was in talking to Shawn down and Wooster Mazda the other day. We'll have to meet up this weekend and talk for a while.

Thanks to all of you that came. I know we were way out of place for that show, but it was still nice to see you all, and meet the few that I didn't already know. Me and Eric talked about hopefully setting up another Ohio meet like the Columbus one. Stay posted for that, or hit us up if you have some suggestions.

Yeah it was nice meeting new people. I had an awesome time! I did take some pics but I forgot to bring my camera with me on my trip to MI. I'll probably post a couple after the weekend ends.

On a side note, we are having a meet up in Cleveland next Saturday for the Grand Prix so all are welcome to join. We'll be meeting up in Cleveland @ 7pm and then we can drag race or watch drifting. Go to Ohioaxelaclub.com and click on "Meets" for more info. I'll start a new thread if people are interested.

Steven and I want to get another meet started sometime next month but this time actually get something better put together since alot of people came to the last one. Any input will be appreciated. The biggest issue is commitment from people, case in point, Super Summit, a free event and we had very little participation. I don't see how creating another club is going to improve the situation.

I had a great time at Summit and I will be at the Cleveland GP ALL day Sat and Sun. I'll be in PA on Friday.

i think the main problem around here is that we are so spread out. the city itself is sprawling, and therefore the people are as well. hell, the founders of the cleveland6club live on opposite sides of town, and it takes like 30 minutes for both to meet in the middle...thats why there isnt a weekly hotspot or anything...we're lucky to get our people together once a month.

How about getting the Mazda3 club, Mazda's from 24/7 and I'll see if the Focus Fanatics want to get together for a Summer Meet @ Mohican State Park.

It is half way between Cleveland/Columbus and we can reserve a pavillion, they're are some nice twisties in the area and I am sure we can get a good turn out. Also, there is canoeing in the area, there are a number of things we can do.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I've heard nice things about Mohican...but never have been there.
