07 MS3 Black Mica, MS CAI, SU Motor Mount, ETS TMIC 3.25"
Well I have been looking for rims and I came across these which I like but is the quality good since they are expensive and 2 piece which actually scares me.

I have attached a picture. I have a black mica MS3 and these are hyper black.

Let me know your thoughts.

two piece scares you? I'd be enticed by being able to replace either the outer or inner ring if I bent one.

I did not think about it that way but that actually makes sense.

the nice thing with these rims is that they are 50mm offset and 18x8 which should fit just nice on 235/40/18 tires.

So you would not be afraid of leaks or balancing issues etc...

On the site they do not say the weight but I beleive they are 20lbs. So they are not light but at least they are lighter then stock and wider.

Try again. They are heavy. I don't remember the exact weight, but I looked at them a couple of years ago and was turned off by the weight. I'll see if I can find it.

OK. Wheelweights.net lists the 18*8 at 23 lbs. Not too heavy, but not any lighter than stock. I tell you what though. I just went with a set of 18" Rota's which are under 20lbs each and the difference is huge. part throttle acceleration is better and steering feel is much better and quicker. If you're concerned with performance, go with something lighter.

I am ok with the Rota's if they will work with 235/40/18 with no rubbing. I noticed the 50mm offset seems to be the trick which is hard to find.

Are the rota's available in 50mm ?

who says that you can buy induvidual pieces of wheels like that? I am not sure you can. And then how are you gonna reassemble the wheel? by breaking out the ratchet and following a giant star shaped pattern? good luck on that!

My opinion is that multi piece wheels are weak. 1 piece would be alot safer IMO. I just really don't see any advantage to multi piece wheels.
