Sunlight Silver MS3 w/ Black Hood?

I have never seen a silver with black hood, but there is a CWP somewhere on the forums with a black hood and roof skin. Looks pretty badass.
Personally, I feel as though just the hood by itself would look a little awkward with just the hood being black. Kind of like you got into an accident then got a spare part from the scrapyard without painting it. It obviously would have to be built into the theme of the car.

i would also advise against it. i don't even think it would look good if the hood was CF.

but i do agree the one with the hood and roof done keeps everything in check

I have a 2008 MS3 with a aftermarket CF hood, and I think it looks good... Just ask people to photoshop what you are thinking about doing see how it looks there...

sorry for the bad picture, but you get the idea.

Everyone has different tastes so if YOU like it get it. But Im in the same boat for the most part. THe hood being black all by its self doesnt look appealing to me. maybe with the roof and hatch being black..so you got a dual tone theme going on..but yeah..some cars it works ok..like those blue civic si's witht he carbon fiber hood does look actrully good..but for our ms3's you really got do more than the hood to make it look sharp...imo

I did something like this on my silver Protege. I followed the body lines to match the grille up and it looked great. Got a lot of compliments as well.

I think something similar would work, along with the grille painted black as well. However, if you're car isn't running, what's the point in worrying?

I think that looks horrible... but thats just my opinion!! If you follow the body line of the hood and make the parts closest the fender the same color as the car, then I think that would be pretty sick!!
