Pretty knowledgeable guy... but he suddenly stopped returning calls etc after being all set for me to bring the car out there one night to look at it. So no idea what is going on at all. Somebody local is interested now that is from the boards, so we'll see if that pans out. Selling a car is a lot like a group buy... lots of people say they want in, and then nobody ante's up in the end

thats what happens when most ppl talk about spending money. they all wanna, but in the end.. many end up punking out.

burned up? What happened... Insurance covering any of it? Sorry to hear that though! That sucks!! I half wish mine would burn up sometimes as then it will never be abused by anyone and I'll get the insurance money instead of having to sell it.. but that's neither here nor there. Sorry to hear of your loss.

yeah i wish insurance would cover it, but it was the engine harness that went all melty and smokey and firey and s***.... so they claim it was an electrical problem, not a auto fire.... **** THEM! i appealed it, but was denied an appeal. i no longer have them as an insurance company, they lost my business for good. I had my house, my 04' F150, 06' GSXR 750, and my mazdaspeed insured threw them... not any-******* more!!
I wish i had the money to buy ur mp3 steve, but u know i cant afford it. I have alot to worry about now with a burnt garage ornament we call a MSP
I am in the process of getting a 99' civic Si though... i already have a GT3071R on a Neukin Manifold (ramhorn style) all i need is some intercooler piping and "chrome" tuning program... I got injectors and a intercooler and all the 3" piping i could ever need for a downpipe
I also need to get some oil/coolant lines
should be fun for a while, and get ALOT better gas mileage than the mazda did

how much of the harness is shot? I may actually part out my MP3 over the winter and put it back roughly to stock depending on how things go. I have a guy with a Mazdaspeed 3 offering a trade of the cars with some cash involved, and it's a decent deal but he is in PA. I don't want another car though so I'd have to turn and sell that which I don't know if I want to screw around with that issue too or not.
