I've used nodics. They are great in deep snow. Tread is aggressive. A bit noisey . I prefer ice tires. IMO. Just keep in mind tat you did not have to spend 200 a wheel to have piece of mind in a blizzard. What part of Canada you from?

After a week of comparison shopping, I am considering getting the Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V1. $933C all in. Any feedback or opinions on these? Mostly do city and surrounding highways with the odd weekend trip here and there up north.

Try General Altimax Arctic. I just bought some and had them on my Mazda 6 previously. I loved them.
